Last updated: 26 July 2026

These terms apply to 1-to-1 coaching requested through the DG Cricket custom booking form. Regular academy classes continue to be booked through Class4Kids and are subject to the terms shown during that separate booking process.

1. Who can book

A booking for a player under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian, or by another adult who has authority to make the booking and provide the player information. The person making the booking is responsible for the accuracy of the details supplied and for communications and payment.

2. A request is not yet a confirmed session

Selecting a slot and submitting the form sends a booking request. The session is confirmed only when DG Cricket accepts the request and sends confirmation. DG Cricket may decline or propose an alternative where a session, venue or coaching arrangement is no longer available or suitable.

3. Price and payment

The displayed price applies to the selected session unless an obvious pricing error is identified before confirmation. Payment is by bank transfer using the details and deadline supplied by DG Cricket. Failure to pay by the stated deadline may result in the session being released or cancelled.

4. 24-hour cancellation policy

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange a confirmed session.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, and non-attendance without notice, may be charged at the full session price. DG Cricket may exercise discretion in exceptional circumstances.

Cancellation notice should be sent to info@dgcricket.com or through the contact method used in the confirmation. The time the message is received is used to calculate notice. Where DG Cricket cancels, the parent or guardian will be offered a reasonable alternative, credit or refund for any amount already paid for that session.

5. Late arrival

Sessions normally finish at the scheduled time even when a player arrives late, because another booking or venue commitment may follow. The full fee may still apply.

6. Venue, weather and unavoidable changes

Outdoor coaching may be moved, shortened, rearranged or cancelled because of weather, ground conditions, venue restrictions, illness, travel disruption or another event outside reasonable control. DG Cricket will communicate material changes as soon as reasonably possible and will offer an appropriate alternative, credit or refund where DG Cricket cannot provide the confirmed session.

7. Safe participation and conduct

The parent or guardian must disclose any information reasonably necessary for safe participation and ensure the player has suitable clothing, footwear, protective equipment, medication and hydration. Detailed health information should be discussed directly rather than entered into the public booking form.

Players, parents and visitors must follow reasonable coaching, venue, health-and-safety and safeguarding instructions. DG Cricket may stop a session where conduct, equipment, health or conditions create a safety or safeguarding concern. The Safeguarding page forms part of these expectations.

8. Communications and personal information

Booking and service messages are sent to the parent or guardian details supplied. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Please keep contact information current and check booking emails carefully.

9. Responsibility and liability

DG Cricket will provide coaching with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. DG Cricket is not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable or for personal possessions brought to a session, except where the law provides otherwise.

10. Changes to these terms and governing law

These terms may be updated for future bookings. The version accepted when a request is submitted applies to that request unless a change is agreed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and statutory consumer rights are not affected.

11. Contact

Questions about a booking or these terms can be sent to info@dgcricket.com.
